Dementia is significantly impacting the lives of many Canadians, most of whom were diagnosed with it after the age of 65. Nearly half a million older adults in Canada were living with a diagnosis of dementia in 2022/23 according to the Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC).

Now in its third year, 2024 Ageing in Canada Survey, in partnership with the Environics Institute for Survey Research, sheds light on the evolving realities of ageing in Canada, offering critical insights into the social well-being, financial security, and health of older adults.
